Meet Dr. Barry Feldner: A Legacy of Care and Expertise
From the vibrant fields of Lansing, Illinois, to the heart of Nebraska, Dr. Barry Feldner’s journey into periodontics and implant dentistry is woven with dedication, education, and a profound connection to the natural beauty that surrounds us. After completing his undergraduate studies at Loyola University, Dr. Feldner honed his expertise at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, followed by a pivotal year at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s General Practice Residency. His passion for periodontics flourished during his time earning a Master of Science and a certificate in Periodontics at the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry.
Since laying down his roots in Nebraska, Dr. Feldner has not only practiced periodontics full-time but has also shared his knowledge as a part-time faculty member at both the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry and Central Community College’s Dental Hygiene program in Hastings. His commitment to lifelong learning and teaching is further exemplified through his directorship at Platte River Seminars, part of the esteemed Seattle Study Club, where he champions continuing dental education for local dentists.
An ardent believer in a collaborative approach to dental care, Dr. Feldner integrates comprehensive treatment strategies that benefit from his advanced training at the Misch Implant Institute and participation in iCON Articulation in Omaha, focusing on the complexities of the Stomatognathic System. His expertise is recognized nationally, being a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontists.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Feldner is a family man at heart and finds solace and inspiration in the great outdoors of Kearney, Nebraska. Whether it’s exploring the expansive landscapes with his family or reflecting on the gentle flow of the Platte River, he brings the same level of care and attention to his personal life as he does to his practice.
In Dr. Feldner’s words, “Each patient brings a unique story just like each landscape holds a unique path. My role is to guide them through their journey of dental health, with the same dedication and respect I have for the nature that surrounds us.” Through his skilled hands and compassionate heart, Dr. Feldner not only restores smiles but also nurtures a community built on trust, care, and continuous growth.
